For more than 13 years, I have conducted Leaders Path Institute Retreat and Coaching programs. The focus of the coaching is leadership development and personal empowerment. Executives, managers, professionals, and a wide variety of others have attended. As a personal empowerment workshop, it is as effective as others that are much more expensive, structured, intrusive, and confrontational.

The workshop is consistent with the modern findings of personal growth and individual performance enhancement. People come away from the experience in ways that further their personal development, therefore benefiting their organizations.

The reported results cover an extraordinary range: increased job effectiveness, upgraded leadership skills, improved public speaking, greater assertiveness, improved work and family relationships, and greater managerial effectiveness.

We can all be leaders if we respect are own nature. To respect our own nature we must honor it and discover it – directly, from within. To exercise leadership we must learn to manage ourselves effectively. This calls for self knowledge. Taking up roles as a leader requires self understanding; the product of self awareness and choosing appropriate growth experiences. Therefore, to be an effective leader is largely determined by our level of self awareness. To prepare for leadership demands that we discover and enhance our self awareness.
